THE OWL & THE PUSSYCAT

Murmuration Arts brought their Owl & The Pussycat show to our Serious Nonsense Festival in Prescot a highlight of our Borough of Culture programme in August 2022. The show delighted young residents and visitors and drew great audiences who were enthralled by magical performance and music.  It was a quirky, gentle, engaging show…I would have no hesitation in working with them again on future events.

About our land-based show

  • Based on Edward Lear’s poem, with original composed music played live on a guitar, gentle audience participation and fabulous costumes made by Jess Eaton.
  • Audience: family-friendly, great for children under 11
  • Audience size: 200
  • Company: two hander
  • Performance area: circle show (grass, street or woodland)
  • Running time: 20 minutes
  • Performances: 3 shows per day
