A LULLABY FOR STOCKTON

________________________________________________________________________

On this special night the moon was big and bright,
the stars glistened in the twinkling sky,
Hush my little baby, there’s no need to cry,
Cuddle me close whilst I sing a lullaby…

Love you my baby like the farmers love the rain,
Like the bees love the flowers, like the moon loves the stars…

On this special night a shooting star flashed by,
As my baby slept it sparkled and took flight…
Let’s come together and chase dreams through the night,
And bathe in the love we share in the moonlight.

Down, down, down…
The sun is going down,
Down, down, all is well pretty baby,
Down, down you go.

Here comes the sleep dust that falls from the stars,
Lay down your sweet head, gold sand on your eyes…
Sweet dreams descending, alighting on your bed,
Good night my own sweet child,
Here are wonders ahead…

Omar on the beach
Bella said mama
My sweet Lily flower
Bee smells of sweetness
Mustafa’s first cry
Iris plays with her daddy

Primrose at the zoo

Ivy’s first morning smiles
And now it’s time to sleep

Down, down, down…
The sun is going down,
Down, down, all is well pretty baby,
Down, down you go.

Swimming through the water like a little fish,
The wind gusts were cool, the sun was warm.
Barefoot and carefree, happy on the beach,
Your sweet, soft skin ,tiny fingers grasping mine.

Mama is going to bring you a flower,
Your love is like nectar giving life to the bees,
Mama is going to bring you an acorn,
That will grow big and strong like the tree roots in the earth.

Down, down, down…
The sun is going down,
Down, down all is well pretty baby,

Down, down you go.

Now close your eyes
And drift to sleep
Everyone loves you, it’s true
You make me happy
When I’m feeling blue
Hush now, my baby
It’s time to go to sleep
Snuggle in close
Until the morning light.

Down, down you go.
