A LULLABY FOR BRIGHTON

As the moon gently rises,
Above cozy houses,
From Bear mountain down to the sea,
In our bubble it’s just you and me,
I am held in this moment forever, my sweet baby.
You are the star in our sky, Storm,
Darling Marigold, I’ll keep you warm, with your face full of wonder,
Say goodnight you can greet the birds, Caelen, in the morning,
Dear Evie, our winter baby with a heart full of warmth.
And just so you know, however you grow,
It’s always, alright by me,
Through the season’s of life and the shifting tides,
You’ll always be perfect to me.
It’s been a day of adventure for all
Sophia, we float as one as you dart through the sun rays,
And Maggie, catching our breath in the air like Dragons, forever exploring,
In the garden run wild, big blue eyes, cheeky smile, my girl Amelie.
In the orchard all around the fire,
Written messages of love,
Giggles smiles and laughter, my Eden’s reactions of wonder,
Time to rest your sweet head Darling Kit,
On my chest, dream of picnics, beaches and bluebells.
And just so you know, however you grow,
It’s always, alright by me,
Through the season’s of life and the shifting tides,
You’ll always be perfect to me.
I’ll watch over as you gently slumber,
For you I’d fly to the sun Joey, we see each other,
Eager arms await you Rupert, in the glow of the firelight, whispers of Christmas
Sweetest dreams baby Alfie, Aurora and Sky… Sleep deep.
